Biography

My research interests focus on individual factors related to youth violence and juvenile delinquency. Specifically, I am interested in how neurocognitive, social cognitive, and personality factors contribute to violence propensity. Further, I am interested in how these same factors are related to behavior while incarcerated, and behavior post-release. My ultimate goal as a researcher is to advance the field of knowledge on these factors and inform and refine risk assessment across the course of criminal justice involvement and subsequently inform forensic assessments and targeted clinical interventions.
