Biography

My research interests broadly focus on risk and resilience factors that contribute to internalizing and externalizing symptomatology among Latinx youth and families. I am also interested in investigating how applying culturally sensitive ecological frameworks can impact psychotherapy efforts with racial minority youth who have been exposed to difficulties unique to their communities, such as immigration or acculturation stress. Through my research, I hope to contribute to the growing understanding of Latinx children's lived experiences and explore interventions that can improve their outcomes.
