Biography

I am interested in individual differences in children and adolescents with traumatic experiences. In particular, I’m interested in how trauma etiology and contextual factors influence clinical presentation of traumatized youth. I’m also interested in interpersonal relationships as risk/protective factors for adverse trauma outcomes. I hope to answer questions such as: Why do youth react differently to trauma? Who is likely to benefit from trauma interventions? How can we improve treatments and outcomes for traumatized youth?
