Heather Ciesielski is Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Psychological Sciences at Purdue University.

She is a licensed clinical psychologist with a primary practice focusing on the evaluation and treatment of children with ADHD and related behavioral, family, learning, and emotional concerns. Dr. Ciesielski’s teaching interests include training in child assessment and evidence-based intervention as well as ethics/bioethics. Her research interests include clinical outcomes of behavioral treatments.

This speaking engagement will complete the following learning objectives:

1. Participants will be provided a general overview of current artificial intelligence (AI) programs and tools that may be used in psychological practice, training, and research.

2. Participants will learn ways in which the use of AI may be used in clinical practice, including benefits, limitations, and ethical and clinical concerns.

3. Participants will learn how AI may be used in clinical training and supervision, including benefits, limitations, and ethical and clinical concerns.

4. Participants will learn the ethical considerations and how to navigate ethical decision-making regarding the use of AI in clinical practice and training.
