I am primarily interested in examining the associations between childhood exposure to trauma (e.g., child maltreatment) and the subsequent onset of externalizing and internalizing dimensions of psychopathology (e.g., risky and problem behaviors, aggression, depression, and posttraumatic stress disorder). I am also interested in studying how risk and protective factors influence mental health outcomes in trauma-exposed children and adolescents.
