I am interested in researching the ways in which natural disasters, war/conflict, terrorism, community violence, and forced migration can impact child psychopathology as well as intergenerational family functioning and resilience. I am particularly interested in researching within the space of refugee trauma and focusing my inquiries upon the mental health of refugee children, adolescents, and their families. I am passionate about the field of global mental health and the pursuit of developing international partnerships to improve mental health disparities in low- and middle-income countries and other low-resource settings.
